yeah but it’s the same in terms of infection potentiality
if he has HIV he can give it to someone else

He can but the possibility is dramatically reduced if he is being treated. There is a huge range of “potentiality”. It is the same sort of thing when being on PrEP. There is potentiality but the range is reduced by a huge amount.
