Max’s Solo at Corbin Fisher:

I know the scuttlebutt is Sean Cody pays more, but I keep wondering how that works out really, considering Sean Cody shoots over a longer period (usually two days). They’re contracting a model for one scene but essentially filming two.

I assume that Corbin Fisher and Sean Cody pay about the same…maybe Sean Cody being slightly higher for the newbies since they are fully exclusive. But yeah, you’re right that Sean Cody runs two-three scenes in one film–that latests Shaw scene was almost an hour. Versus Corbin Fisher scenes seem to be clocking 12-15 minutes these days. I guess it feels like a bit less work though having to get used to one new random dick when you are just screwing one guy for two days.

It would be interesting to see if that continued filming makes the guys more or less comfortable. It’s like they’re boyfriended up for a weekend, which can makes some guys squirrelly. Especially those “I’m straight because I fuck guys for free but don’t date them” models.

I also feel like I’m noticing that Sean Cody has sped up their filming timeline. Some scenes seem to be shot in one very long day.

I tend to think the frathouse atmosphere makes it easier, because it’s easier to bro out with the other bros about how you’re just doing it for the money. Unless you’re closeted, which will make things very uneasy. With just one other guy it’s more intimate and easier to let your guard down. That’s why I believe Shaw was trying to “straighten it up” with Emmett.

I’m also believing the frat stuffs can make it harder for the guys to put out good scenes. They become friends, they’re all hanging out, then they have to fuck. Fucking your friends can be weird. Fucking your straight friends can be weirder. Just ask Scott and Campbell. And I just now got the Scott Campbell reference, as I wrote this.

That’s great if Sean Cody has changed tactics. The multi-day shoots always made scenes feel disjointed.
