I will say this, both Clark and Quinn have more than a few indicators of Bipolar disorder. Manic like highs and lows, extreme inability to accept ANY form of criticism – no matter how tactfully it’s delivered, or accept an opinion divergent from their own. The narcissistic behavior, also part and parcel, as well as a host of other things.

Depending on a lot of variables, weed can actually exacerbate some mental illnesses. Not that any of that would be a blanket excuse of any kind, you can’t just blurt things out on SM and then act as if it never happened.

But that kind of disassociation is also classic bipolar, they find it nearly impossible to admit fault, or accept responsibility, and especially if they HAVE done something they are at fault for, no matter how red handed the “bust” standard procedure is act like it never happened.

They have both been publicly open about their depression, the self medicating could lead to a whole new level of trouble as for some it can actually cause schizophrenic episodes further down the road.

If anxiety and depression are issues for them I don’t think weed is the answer for sure. I could be wrong – hell there are a millions strains of it now. I have never seen it work. There are a ton of homeopathic treatments for anxiety and depression, as health conscious as both Clark and Quinn are I would think they would look into them.

I am an awful sucker for “fixer uppers”. It took therapy and a very patient sane person (HB) to make me see that such things are waay out of my control. As for Clark’s racial issues – things like that are taught. Nobody wakes up one day and says “Gee, this would be a great day to become a biggot.” I hope that life teaches him otherwise.

We’ve seen the trope where one person’s idealism is tainted by reality and that may happen here. However, even with ever-present social media, we’re still seeing only a glimpse of their “real life.” We don’t know what kind of discussion Austin and Clark or other people are having behind the door, we don’t know what they are thinking, everything is what those people want to publish, slip-ups and everything. We as consumers can only do so much to influence, all that’s left is to observe as everything falls into place and build our opinion on it.
