I can remember my reaction when I first saw Jarek with that new look.

I’ll admit that it took a little time to onboard me once the site went bareback, so my knowledge of the earliest scenes is spotty. Before 2012, I would be surprised if you could find ten comments from me in aggregate on Sean Cody. They stopped because the ownership of the site transitioned from whoever owned it before (I’m guessing the actual “Sean Cody”) to Mindgeek, home of Bromo, MEN, and an endless supply of other mediocre brands. Everything began to break down during that time, although I concede that the decline was pretty gradual. The models began to be less conspicuously hot. That’s hard to quantify since taste is relative, but if you look through 2012 comments, you see a massive public outcry as to how unbelievably hot everything is, and if you look around 2015, you see an outcry in the opposite direction. When SC was really SC, everything, even during the condom era (not that I was a consistent viewer as I said), just screamed that these scenes were shot by someone who was putting out the product that he himself wanted to consume. To me, Duke and Brandon, despite how polarizing Brandon was, marked the end of their best work. That was summer 2014, and after that, it was an increasing pattern of B-level models or favorites paired with people who were forgettable or past their prime (see below). Eventually, the comments were all in the vein of “who the fuck is watching this,” at which time the problems were not limited to casting.

They didn’t stop. Once they began filming Internals not every update included one, even back then. Admittedly I am more familiar with updates from that time but I am aware that Internals have been included in present day updates, but not as often. I remember laughing to myself once because I had been made aware by a friend that there was an Internal in an update and the posters were complaining that “they just don’t do Internals any more”. You made clearly why you do prefer duos than threesomes (and the CFF factor), but the threesome between Calvin, Dennis and Jordan is the best SC has ever produced imo.
