I actually really like this premise. This is so much dirtier than the vanilla scenes with two guys on a bed that dominated the history of this company. But two notes. One, I hate to nitpick, but a sheet with a hole in it is not a glory hole. That’s kinda lame. Gotta invest in the Home Depot woodshed version. Second, the position didn’t quite work relative to the fact that the filming was mostly limited to one side. There are stretches when it’s just a shot of a guy bent over. He’s getting fucked by a beautiful stranger (shout out to Madonna), but you can’t see even a glimpse of the shaft. No shame in trying but there has to be another camera angle for this to work.

Bryan used to make glory hole scenes a few years back in the halcyon days of CM with a proper set including a real toilet stall (don’t know if the toilet actually worked). He should just dust off his old set and use that. The set included a trough and was also used for water sports. I’ve been watching some of the older scenes, including “bossy”, “edge” and other types. It’s a pity those types of scenarios seem to be too hard (expensive?) to make these days. They were hot, with hot models testing their boundaries.

Oh yes, I can give you chapter and verse about those old days you’re talking about. The g:hole series did have real architecture, but then the problem was that the situation didn’t feel real. When Bryan was in charge of any fetish premise, he ruined it by not understanding why people liked those things. No. 1 on that list is that when guys are fucking through a glory hole, they DON’T then cross over and have regular sex face to face (or if they do, they have to sell the premise that they could get caught at any moment). Those scenes could have been hot (and some of them still were), but if it feels like an artificial porn set, there’s zero reason to make it look like something else. The fantasy is gone — the sense of risk is completely absent. That’s why the Michael Mission scene is actually much hotter in that regard. It was a lame bedsheet, but it otherwise really looked like an anon hookup.

Some of the massage table scenes I thought were very good even though there’s nothing particularly edgy about that. The blindfold scenes failed for me because again, Bryan ruined it by having the model walk right in front of the guy he was about to blindfold. The anonymity was blown from the start. To me the most daring scenes were actually in the shower, where Vander and others took the watersports WAY past the boyish experimental level Bryan seemed to encourage. But a serious honorable mention goes to the Kelton Bossy scene, where Kelton appeared to be deeply committed to being Bryan’s sub bottom, and Bryan was obviously turned on too. That was an all-time top-ten CM scene for me.
