What you have just “heard” is OLD 2020 news that has been discussed several times. Also, one man’s “garbage” is another man’s TREASURE. I’m going to continue with my same GUESS, which is it is not a switch, but “moonlighting”. I see Asher is

It’s not an idiotic premise for some. Sex on a train is something that has long titillated the imagination of gay men who are turned on by the idea of public sex, going WAY back. This has been done before and with very similar looking sets. It’s just porn and not a big-budget Hollywood filming of, Murder On The Orient Express, that demands detailed realism. This is a set that would be used on a Theater stage to do exactly as you described: to give a “vague illusion” of the inside of a subway train, and the imagination of the viewer takes over from there.
