I don’t know why the concept that this could be MvS’s actual audition video shot as much as 6 or so years ago is so difficult to comprehend. In 2008 videos MvS has a sleeve tattoo from just above his left elbow running up and over his left shoulder blade. Even if you can’t tell that he’s significantly younger-looking, unless you believe that he’s had that untraceably removed to return to the armband, this is clearly old footage.
