That’s the 64 thousand dollar question. I’m not an expert, not privy to the economics of running of a porn site and I do not know anyone who is. It seems the most obvious guess is, the sites producing more scenes for less money is talent is paid less. Furthering that theory, perhaps sites like Men are able to pay a given performer more money in a given period of time, than say Corbin Fisher, but they can only achieve that by booking said performer in more scenes except at a lower scene rate.

I am WHOLEHEARTEDLY behind the belief that Corbin Fisher was a lot better 5-10 years ago and the quality slipped gradually over the past 3-5 years, or so. Too, Sean Cody started downward when he sold it. I just happen to weep and bleed more for Corbin Fisher because it became my favorite site because it earned the right. There was that period of time that lasted several years where Sean Cody was king and Corbin Fisher was number 2. I think Sean Cody edged out Corbin Fisher because Sean Cody cast performers aged 18-30ish and therefore appealed to a wider audience than CF, who used to take their whole “College” theme serious and cast guys who appeared age 18-22 leaving some wiggle room at the top, mainly for hugely popular models to continue making scenes even tho they had been around for nearly 10 years and appeared it.

My memory is bad but I thought Corbin Fisher runs specials every so often? Many times I am that guy who subs for a month, not very often, and downloads the scenes I’ve missed. Some sites have made it harder for people like me, but where there’s a will, there’s a way.

Otherwise, he said he pretty much single-handedly operates the entire business alone and has for over 10 years, at least. That’s gotta save a ton of money. From driving models from the airport to studio to hotel and all that stuff to changing light bulbs to working outside on buildings, homes and grounds to all pieces of production as well as communications and customer service with the site. Ugh! Again, I’m no expert or insider but I bet Sean Cody and Corbin Fisher employed a half dozen or more staff thru the years, off and on.
