Roman is Russian but he’s never been there.

“My mom was pregnant with me when they came here,” he explained. “Things were getting bad there so they left.”

“Have you ever thought about visiting?” I asked. “Things have calmed down quite a bit!”

“Yeah, maybe after I’m done with school.”

Roman is studying engineering and he hopes to get a job in robotics.

“I can’t wait,” he said with a crooked smile. “It’s really interesting. I can’t wait to do it full time.”

Roman is definitely one of those dork / jock hybrids.

He comes across as a little goofy when you first meet him, but he’s got the big, muscular build of an athlete.
